Shenzhou Chengguan Middle School is located in the downtown of a modern city, Shengzhou, which belongs to Yangtse Delta economical area. It was Chengguan Junior & Primary School established in 1953, and was situated in Bingyuan of Beizhi Street. Two years later, it was moved to Yaowang Temple of Dongqian Street, and finally to the former address of Chengguan Beimenwai Food Factory, namely, North Street No.128 of Shenzhou City currently.
It was named "Shengxian Chengguan Junior Middle School of Non-governmental" after being middle school in 1957 and altered to governmental school in 1979. It had begun to recruit high school students in 1975 and was one of the 13 high schools and cancelled recruit high school students in 1990.Now it is belonged to the junior high school of Shengzhou .
The school keeps on growing over the last five decades. And now it has become a Junior Middle School with the largest area and greatest teaching capacity in Shenzhou city.
Now it has 46 classes ,2876 students and 158 high quality teachers. It has 18 senior teachers and 112 first-grade teachers, 5 subject leaders ,21 new teaching stars.77 teachers have finished the undergraduate course.
